The Department of Rural and Community Development has announced details of when the main capital investment schemes will be opening in 2023.Encouraging community groups to apply, Minister Heather Humphreys said: “There has never been as many opportunities for local community groups to access funding for rural and community development projects. Such a fantastic event today at the Spring Gathering as part of the #socialinclusion week events organised by DLDC . Community Gardens coming from all over #donegal to connect , network , share knowledge and enjoy a lovely walk to Letterkenny Community Gardens for a wonderful springtime walk in the gardens . Huge thanks to Kathleen Donaghey from The Vestry Cairde le Cheile for the warm welcome , the food and the excellent demonstration and talk on using the Donegal Loy Loy Association of Ireland . We are making great progress in our community garden🌱We set up in November 2022,we are registered with Social Farms & Gardens, fully constitued, insured and are so excited to be starting afresh. We meet every Tuesday and soon Fridays too and have a range of workshops and events organised for the coming months.
