Storm Éowyn has caused a huge amount of damage and devastation to people’s homes, businesses and communities throughout Ireland, and particularly along the west and north coast. Thank you to everyone working on re-establishing power, water, and communication lines in these affected areas.

Community Gardens Ireland were contacted by the Donegal Community Garden Network about communities who have suffered significant damage to their local community garden following the storm. It can take years and an incredible amount of local work to establish a community garden, and the loss can be devastating to the local community.

We are reaching out to see if any other community groups throughout Ireland have been affected by the storm, and have suffered significant damage.
