The Climate Action Plans for each local authorities are under review at present – these will be the plans used for climate action locally the next 5 years.

This is incredibly important to contribute to. Community Gardens Ireland have performed a review of previous climate action plans / adaptations strategies and have found gaps in the wording related to allotments or community gardens in previous plans.

As of 07/12/23, we have made submissions to 19 out of 31 local authorities. See here for details of one of our submission to Kerry County Council.
