Community Gardens Ireland Autumn Gathering @ Top of the City Community Garden, Waterford
Saturday, 25th September 2021
This event is to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the idea of a community gardens network around the island of Ireland and was first muted at the GIY Harvest Festival in Waterford in 2011.
Schedule:
11:00: Kick off at Top of the City Community Garden
11:15: Talks by Justyna Traore (Top of the City Community Garden), Conor O’Kane (Social Farms & Gardens Northern Ireland)
12:00 – 13:30: Chat & walk & seed sharing at Top of the City Community Garden
14:00 – 15:00: Lunch in Grow HQ (Fee covers lunch!)
15:00 – 16:00: Tour & Talk of Grow HQ with Michael Kelly
16:00 – 16:30: Walk in the Solace City Garden
17:00 – 18:00: Ferrybank Allotments walk (optional)
Toilet facilities available in Grow HQ (none available in Top of the City community garden).
