Great to see another new community garden getting off the ground - this one in Skerries, Co. Dublin!COMMUNITY GARDENPretty soon there’s going to be something wonderful at Skerries Mills. It’s the new community garden just in front of the Willow Terrace café. The beds are all in and ready to plant. The Men’s Shed men put in fruit trees around the perimeter and they also have a new shed and greenhouse close by. Now a committee has been formed to manage the community garden and they are just putting in the first bulbs this month. Some of the members are gathered there to plant the bulbs on Sunday, December 5. Mud Island Community Garden are having their Christmas Market next Saturday 11th December 12 to 6 pm - always a great event.
